BIVOUAC & LOGISTIC SUPPORT
The Cameleers Inc.
The Cameleers are an all-veteran group of elite field camp specialists who are registered in QLD and travel all over Australia providing field camps and catering to organisations like Griffith University archaeologists, Geologists and Scientists doing research in the most remote places in Australia. The team are field specialists skilled in setting up and operating camps for large groups, completely unassisted and without the need for re-supply. Having gained their skills on many deployments both in Australia and overseas, these veterans are well-equipped and resourced to provide essential field capability. From off-road heavy-duty catering trailers to high-end communication and map-making tech, it’s this non-profit group that provides so much to any organisation looking to go remote. The Cameleers are volunteers who give up their time and bring fellow veterans who are all trade-qualified in various specialty areas, trained by our ADF.
The Cameleers will be our events field camp unit, providing assisted operating camps along the route. Just one of the puzzle pieces needed in delivering this event for our members, and we are so grateful for their partnership.
